According to the annual work arrangement of the Association Council, on August 22, 2018, an expert group organized by Cui Ming, Vice President and Director of the Planting Industry Special Committee of the Association, Ming Yazhong, Executive Vice President, Wang Ling, Vice President, Jiang Xuekuan, Secretary General, Lu Jun, Yang Chaozhu, Ding Haibing, and Yang Yinzhou, carried out the evaluation of key counties in the national konjac industry, experimental testing of konjac disease control agents, and research on konjac breeding bases. This review and research is the highest standard (3 vice presidents, 1 secretary-general, 4 executive directors), longest time and distance (11 days, 10000 miles), widest scope (spanning 6 provinces and cities in the main production areas of konjac in China), and richest content (konjac breeding and breeding, standardized planting, base construction, product research and development, marketing, konjac culture, promotion, etc.) carried out by the association in the 21 years since its establishment. Through the joint efforts of the expert review team and participating units, the planned tasks have been successfully completed. This event is very valuable and has profound significance. It will play an important role in promoting the construction of konjac base, scientific planting, disease prevention and control, product research and development, and the sustained, stable and healthy development of the industry in China. The experts from the judging panel who participated in this event were filled with emotions and spontaneously wrote a poem: "Day and night are inseparable, government, enterprises, and scientific research work with one heart, crossing six provinces and ten thousand miles, pouring their hearts into konjac sentiment. We firmly believe that Xiaokonjac will become a major industry for human health, achieve great results, and make great contributions!
