On June 21st, the Hubei Province "Going Global" Enterprise Strategic Cooperation Service Alliance was established in Wuhan. 52 enterprises including Provincial MediaTek, Huaxin Cement, China Construction Third Engineering Bureau, and China Railway Major Bridge Bureau have become the first members of the alliance. The member enterprises will go global together, share resources, and create a competitive advantage for Hubei enterprises to participate in international economic cooperation.

It is reported that the alliance has five groups: supply chain system, financing mutual assistance, labor cooperation, key project docking, and consulting services. It will provide one-stop services for member enterprises to "go global" and form a community of interests through activities such as docking cooperation and project release. Machinery, steel, cement, and heavy-duty transport vehicles are traditional advantageous industries in our province, with a group of small and medium-sized enterprises. Through "big leading small, strong leading weak", well-known enterprises drive more related enterprises to upgrade from single business to diversified business, and from resource intensive to technology intensive, thus occupying more of the world's high-end engineering market.

Gezhouba Group is the executive convener of this alliance and the leading unit of the supply chain system working group. Currently, the company's business covers 142 countries. The head of the international department of the group introduced that after the establishment of the alliance, there will be an additional channel for communication, which will closely strengthen the cooperation between the group and surrounding enterprises.

In recent years, the pace of Hubei enterprises going global has increased. From January to April, the province's foreign contracted engineering completed a turnover of 1.68 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 46.6%, ranking sixth in the country and first in the central and western regions in terms of scale; The newly signed contract amount is 4.73 billion US dollars, ranking fourth in the country and first in the central and western regions in terms of scale; Non financial outward direct investment was 450 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 2.4%. The newly signed contract amount and completed turnover of the national contracting projects along the "the Belt and Road" accounted for 40.8% and 72% of the provincial total respectively.
